I’ve never been content with average—and that’s bled into every chapter of my life. Growing up, I was the kid who stayed out late shooting hoops long after the streetlights came on. I chased greatness through football, basketball, and track, learning early on that pain was part of the process and setbacks were just prep for comebacks. Sports weren’t just games—they were a forge, shaping grit, drive, and a deep respect for team and tribe. That mindset carried me into nearly two decades of law enforcement service, where I learned to lead under pressure, stand firm in chaos, and protect those who couldn't protect themselves. The uniform sharpened my discipline. The work grounded my mission. But I knew I had more to give—not just to a job, but to a community built on strength, resilience, and shared struggle. CrossFit didn’t find me—I hunted it down. I was drawn to the grind, the shared suffering, the purpose behind the pain. It wasn’t about workouts. It was about warriorship. That’s when Warrior Axe CrossFit was born—not as a business, but as a calling. Over the years, I’ve stood on competition floors, earned respected credentials, and trained alongside some of the best in the game. My proudest achievements? Coaching adaptive athletes who redefine grit. Mentoring busy parents balancing barbells and babies. Guiding remote clients to transform garages into battlegrounds—and their bodies into armor. What I’ve Learned: Leadership isn’t shouting from the front. It’s bleeding alongside your people. Coaching isn’t theory—it’s earned in the fire. And true strength? It’s built when no one’s watching—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I’ve stacked my toolbox with real-world experience and certifications that matter. At Warrior Axe, we don’t do ego. We do effort. We build warriors. If you’re ready to go to war with your excuses, I’m in the trenches with you. Axe sharp. Mission clear. Let’s move.
The Turning Point There’s always a moment—the kind that doesn’t knock, it breaks down your door. Mine came after nearly two decades in law enforcement. I’d spent my life protecting others, holding the line, carrying the weight of the world on my back. But no vest or badge could shield me from what was happening inside. I was unraveling. The years of stress, trauma, and buried emotion caught up. I wasn’t sleeping. I was angry, disconnected, and empty. On paper, I looked strong. In reality, I was barely holding it together. That’s when I hit the wall—and realized the enemy wasn’t out there. It was inside. Anxiety. Depression. Shame. Doubt. The hidden weight far heavier than any barbell. I had two choices: keep white-knuckling through life and pretend I was fine—or face the storm head-on. I chose the fight. What saved me wasn’t a therapist alone. It wasn’t a gym alone. It was the hard truth that physical and mental health are not separate. They’re deeply connected. When I moved my body, I moved my mind. When I trained with purpose, the fog started to lift. Every drop of sweat was a battle won. And that’s when Warrior Axe CrossFit was born—not as a gym, but as a mission. To build a place where people could fight their demons out loud. Where mental toughness isn’t about being emotionless—it’s about being honest, consistent, and unbreakably supported. I built this place for the people like me—those who’ve smiled through suffering, stayed strong for everyone else, and nearly lost themselves in the process. Here, we train to be warriors. In the body and the mind. The enemy was internal chaos. The weapon was movement. Community. Truth. The victory is ongoing—but now I fight with a tribe at my back. If you’re carrying something heavy, you’re not weak. You’re ready. Let’s meet it head-on—together. Axe sharp. Armor on. It’s time.
Passion & Motivation I coach because I know what it feels like to carry the weight—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and still show up. I coach because too many people walk through life feeling unseen, unworthy, and unsure of their own strength. That ends here. My purpose is to build warriors, not just athletes. I serve the overlooked, the underdogs, and the everyday fighters—parents, first responders, adaptive athletes, and anyone who’s ever felt like the gym wasn’t built for them. My gym is for them. Warrior Axe is their stronghold. I’m not here for quick fixes or Instagram abs. I’m here for the dad fighting to reclaim his health. The mom who's lost herself and wants her fire back. The athlete sidelined by injury who refuses to quit. The one battling demons in silence. If that’s you—you’re my people. My motivation? It’s personal. I’ve been broken. Burned out. Buried in doubt. And I’ve climbed out—rep by rep, breath by breath. That journey lit a fire in me to make sure no one else does it alone. I coach because it matters. Because movement heals. Because discipline saves lives. And because when you build a tribe like this—loyal, battle-tested, purpose-driven—you change lives from the inside out. If you're ready to train with intention, sharpen your mindset, and belong to something bigger than yourself—I'm your coach. Axe sharp. Let’s move.
